The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust Solomon Islands recently organised a charitable fundraising in Honiara which was well supported by Kramer Ausenco (SI) Ltd. This was organised with support by the Patron, The Honourable Prime Minister Darcy Lilo MP, Queen Elizabeth II and Diamond Jubilee Solomon Islands Committee.
The luncheon was well attended by the Solomon Islands private business sector who were given the opportunity to meet William and Kate. The funds went towards people with disabilities and the youths of the Solomon Islands.
William and Kate were well welcomed by the private companies and thanked the attendees for their support to the charities for a good cause.
Kate and William spent three days in the Solomon Islands which included a visit to the Solomon Islands cultural village, opening of the commonwealth Street down town, and a Marau Village experience at the Tavanipupu resort.
It was a very busy few days with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge coming to the Solomon Islands.
For two days the streets were jam-packed with people and cars, wherever Prince William and Kate walked people would run alongside full of a breathless excitement.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge trip to the Solomon Islands can be remembered as a down to earth full of cultural experience. Kramer Ausenco (SI) Ltd was fortunate to be part of their visit in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
