PNGPCL Traffic Management Plan

Due to an increase in cargo and the ongoing construction activities, the customers experience congestion internally and externally and longer waiting time for the delivery of services within the Container Terminal area.

PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL) wishes to relieve this traffic congestion and improve service delivery time by reducing queue time.

Kramer Ausenco completed assessment and analysis of the traffic entering, circulating within and exiting the container terminal. From this, Kramer Ausenco produced a layout and Traffic Management Plan was produced.
